Australian Terrier Dogs
Temperament
Australian Terriers have a spirited and self confident temperament. They are companionable and will form tight bonds with their family who should reward this through regular walks and play sessions. They get on fine with other pets (especially if brought up with them) and are polite to strangers. It is important that you socialise your Australian Terrier early so that they grow into more rounded, calmer dogs.
They are always alert and make good watchdogs.
Health Problems
Health problems that may affect Australian Terriers include luxating patella (dislocation of the kneecap), diabetes, allergies, tumours and eye disease.
