Description: Naked neck cockerel available to a good home which can give him a lot of land to roam during the day and a large secure coop at night. He will need an experienced chicken keeper to manage a slow integration into a new flock as he pecks one of my 16 birds and may struggle with new flock mates through initially pecking until he is settled down. Strictly no breeders who will retire him after one season and nobody who cannot give him what he needs as above - I will visit to see the setup. He is noisy in the mornings and not appropriate for city gardens or small backyards. He’s a nice bird if a little bit timid around us. Gets on well with all but one of my mixed flock of bantams and large fowl. Do not think to contact me if you have fighting intentions for this bird - I have to say this as have had far too many strange approaches! He is not a fighting bird!!… and it is illegal!!. Thank you.
