I keep rescue hens, mainly excommercial hens we currently have 8 and 4 rescued as unwanted pets. Recently Mary went brodie, unusual for a commercial hen she has hatched 5 eggs and is a fabulous mum it has been a pleasure and privilege to watch her mother her babies! I have 2 cats Twiglet a bengal and Marmite a British short haired, who has been diabetic for the last 18 months. He is a treasure - 2 insulin injections a day and still purrs like a train. Love animals more than most people!!
