Although the entire hutch doesn’t need cleaning more than once or twice a week, it’s advisable to at least clean the lavatory section of the hutch every day. This will really make the environment much nicer for your pets, and will reduce the likelihood of them developing nasty problems, such as flystrike. Rabbits are clean creatures, and will generally pick out just one or two areas of the hutch in which to do their business. Simply sweep the droppings out and pop them in the bin each day.
It's important to clean your rabbits' hutch on a regular basis, particularly in the summer
As for the rest of the hutch, it’s best to change the lining and bedding once or twice a week if you have two rabbits. If there are very young rabbits present, then it will need to be thoroughly cleaned daily.

Hi, I was wondering how you recommend cleaning the run portion of the 6 foot rabbit run/hutch system. It seems difficult for an adult to be able to fit inside and I'd love some experienced rabbit owners to give input on how they keep the entire system clean. Thanks!
