Frequently Asked Questions About The Maya Elevated Donut Cat Bed

We recommend that the Maya Donut Cat Bed is a comfortable size for cats who weigh up to 5kg, however it can hold up to 8kg in weight if your cat is heavier but would fit in the dimensions: 47 x 36 x 15 cm.

The bed cover can be unzipped, removed from the cushion and put in the washing machine, using a gentle cycle at 30 degrees with mild detergent. If you have feet on your donut bed, these must first be removed.

Leave the cover to air dry flat, then put the cover on the cushion and zip back up. Do not tumble dry the cover. Wash with similar colours, and do not bleach. Gently hand wash the cushion only.

The Maya Donut Cat Bed offers premium comfort and has a much deeper filling compared to other fluffy cat beds on the market. The cushion bed holds its shape for long lasting support.
The bed cover and filling are made from polyester. The feet frame and metal hairpin feet are made from mild steel wire and sheet. The wood feet are made from rubber wood.
The Maya Donut is a long-lasting cat bed with a machine washable cover to ensure it can be kept fresh and clean, as well as super soft and comfortable. The premium plush finish will maintain its softness, and the plump cushion will hold its shape to guarantee everlasting comfort.
The wooden feet have rubber bungs underneath, and the hairpin feet sit in silicone caps, to prevent the bed from sliding when raised up on feet, and prevent marks on your floor.
Yes, this bed would also be suitable for small dogs up to 5kg.
To attach the feet, simply unzip the cover and place the frame inside on the underside of the bed. Zip back up and screw the feet in through the holes in the fabric and frame. You can find the "how to" instruction manual here.

The frame is included with the feet in "Frame with Feet" products, bought through the configurator.
If you do not like the bed or your cat doesn’t use it within 180 days of purchase, you can return it to us for a full refund if still in perfect condition. This bed also has a 2 year warranty, so please contact us if you feel the bed has broken within the warranty period. The bed is not chew or claw proof, and we cannot replace or refund beds which have been damaged through natural pet usage.
Unfortunately it is not currently possible to buy replacement covers.
