The number of chickens you should get depends on how many eggs you want a week and how large your garden is. For most households two chickens will provide more than enough eggs.

You should only choose three chickens if you have a large garden and can find a way of using 20 eggs a week (Obviously if you are using the extra eggs to bake cakes for us then that's fine).
