The light works well and comes on to guide my girls to bed. It often takes around half an hour for them to all get in the house, so having a longer on time would be beneficial.

We have recently purchased the coop door having become rather fed up with a different product. My neighbour installed it, on our wooden coop, but it seems to have been straight forward and the instruction book, comprehensive. Relatively easy to programme. Waiting to install a second one on another coop

The Omlet Auto Door is a great addition to my coop! I love the smart features and the ability to know for sure that my door is closed at the end of the night. The quality of the materials used to make the door feel heavy-duty! I also really enjoy the light that goes on 5 minutes before the door closes.

This door is very easy to install, and is working well for my flock! I needed this door to replace a wooden slider door that finally rotted away, on a home-built chicken tractor. To install the door I needed to reduce the size of my original door opening to match the dimensions needed for mounting the auto door, and the modification to my existing opening was the longest part of my installation process. The Auto Door is made of high-quality plastic and I am not concerned about any local predators being able to break in. The coop light gives off a good amount of light if I need to look in on the flock, and it is not so bright that it bothers the resting flock when I turn the light on. I also appreciate the flexibility of using batteries to control this door, since it is on a tractor, I don't need to run an extension cord or other power supply across the yard to be able to let the flock out for daily free-ranging time. The app is easy to use and I love that I get a notification when the door is opened and then again when closed each day. My only concern running on batteries is if I need to close the door immediately in an emergency. When using batteries the unit checks in for commands once every 10 minutes to conserve battery life. I appreciate this extending the life of the batteries; however, I feel there needs to be an emergency close option that would send a signal to wake the device and to shut the door immediately in case of a sudden predator attack, weather change, or another poultry emergency that requires the flock is secure within moments, not minutes. If the unit is plugged into a power source, it closes immediately, so this concern only pertains to running the unit on battery power. I am very happy with this smart auto door and could see myself getting another for my next flock expansion and coop build.

Got the door quickly and it was easy to install and seems to operate well. My only complaint so far has been the door size. I have turkeys and some fat ducks along with my chickens living together. Door size is tight for the turkey and larger ducks.

Tried a handful of other doors. None of them worked great. I was hesitant about this door just due to price. I eventually caved and bought this. The first week we had it , it was amazing. The second week we had it hurricane beryl hit , me living on the close to the coast of Texas we were hit pretty hard. This door worked perfectly throughout the whole hurricane. I highly recommend this door , it works amazing and definitely worth the money!

A good set of instructions and what looks to be a well engineered product, I suppose time will tell. Fitted to a custom chicken palace and operating on the timer option.

Got the auto door with wifi took a little to work out the settings but works so well very happy

Nothing is better than having peace of mind when it comes to raising your flock! The Smart Automatic Chicken Door has made chicken keeping such a breeze for me! For our small farm being able to set a specific time the door opens and closes has been so helpful. The app has been a game changer when it comes to making sure our flock is safe. The notifications alerting when the door has opened and closed are wonderful. I love that the Automatic Chicken Door knows if one of your feathered friends is standing in the way of the door, and the app alerts you that the door is blocked (it is usually one of our silly Silkies!). I know that my flock is tucked in safe at night, and can head out to enjoy the day in the morning without me having to open and close the door. I highly recommend adding the Smart Automatic Chicken Door to your coop! Another amazing product from Omlet! 

I’ve kept chickens for twenty years and I d always been there to see to my flock, or arranged for some one to lock them up at night for me, if necessary. I’d seen many automatic pop hole doors but some had very poor reviews, so I kept getting put off. However, reading the reviews on the Omlet auto door & then seeing the sale, I finally decided to buy one! Well! What can I say!! I should have done it years ago!! This piece of kit is absolutely brilliant & my girls have taken to it straight away! It’s a safe design & has a simple way to over ride the closing time of my girls are all in early, I can operate the door with a manual press of a button and they are in safe for the night! If I’m not there, I know they will be locked safely to bed! This gives amazing peace of mind! A brilliant addition to my coop ! Thank you Omlet for your ingenuity
