This is the most amazing coop door ever..easy to install..no hesitation from my girls using it..love the light that comes on before it closes..love that it runs off batteries and not solar or electrical..finally peace of mind if I'm out of town..best coop door out there..especially with the safety features

We installed the auto chicken door and light. Installation went well. The existing coop door was a different size, so we cut a 1/4" piece of plywood to the new size and installed the door over it so chickens couldn't get into the door mechanism. My wife was getting up early to let the chickens out, now the auto door lets them out while she sleeps in. After 3 weeks, we've only used 10% of the battery charge, so looks like we'll be changing them 3 times per year at most. We're very happy with this purchase.

We’ve had the autodoor 4 weeks and it’s worked brilliantly from day 1. Makes it so easy and stops the need/worry of getting up early or getting out just after they’ve gone to bed to shut the door. Wasn’t easy to guess what luminescence level to set but was guided by what the manual had set and it’s fairly quick to adjust if needed. Only had one occasion they were ‘locked out’ but that was after I’d sprinkled some strong smelling redmite powder in their bedding and I think they didn’t like/were unsure of the smell. But it was simple to manually open it, even in the dark and they quickly went in.

The Autodoor is amazing. I installed it on my Eglu Cube MK1 in November 2019along with the coop light, set it up to open and close on the daylight level and it transformed my life! Chickens were happy with it immediately. It is only today over 9 months later that I have changed the batteries.......fantastic product.

This well built door is so study and well designed. I had absolutely no training required for my chickens to use it perfectly immediately. The dogs and I can now get up a little later. I still check each night to make sure they are in but it so reassuring each time I do. I should have brought it with the coop. It’s costly but the freedom more than makes up for it.

Very happy with the Omlet coop door (with light). Initially i thought the battery (4xAA) was a weak point and i bought (but didnt fit) the mains power supply, but i can see the benefit following a recent power cut! Perhaps the team could consider mains power but with a rechargeable standby battery?

Installed the automatic chicken coop light and it works a treat! Our hens go into their coop every night without fail. The light was an easy addition to our Omlet Automatic Coop Door setup.

I’m so happy to finally received my Auto door! So easy to install. I installed it on my wooden coop. The kind of coop that you buy as a kit and put together. I’ll sleep good tonight knowing this door is on and secure. It’s closed at sundown as expected. Can wait for it to open when so my ladies can come out of the house when they are ready instead of waiting for me. Again. So easy to install (one note, I used a 6.4mm drill bit because that’s the biggest I had and that worked vs the 7mm the instructions said to use.
