I have two Eglu Cubes and an Eglu Go-up, all with extensions, plus a Walk-in Run. The Omlet chicken pens are excellent. Easy to assemble, easy to take apart or add to. Solid construction when in place, but also easy to move to fresh positions. The houses are extremely comfortable. Mine so far have been through very strong winds, heavy rain, very cold frosts (-7, -8!) - the chickens have been snug inside, with no moisture penetration and no condensation. They are very easy to clean, the trays slide out, litter replaced, floors wiped, reassembled, all in a matter of minutes with little effort at waist height. The nesting areas are appealing to the hens. Being in an area with many foxes, security is vitally important - the runs are themselves very fox-resistant with their strong mesh and extended “apron", but in addition, being able to shut the chickens in at night (from outside the house without disturbing chickens who have gone to bed) with-fox proof doors makes me able to sleep easy at night! The clear plastic covers for the pens are excellent in providing rain protection while letting in light. Omlet chicken runs are ideal for small flocks of chickens.

Pondered for a long time about the cost of the Cube but as I am a total novice hen keeper I decided to try and make my life easier and have the best. The cube is soooo easy to clean and very quick to do. I can imagine a yukky mess with a wooden house so I am pleased I made this choice. I have had problems with the ladder or should I say the hens have and I do think the ladder treads are spaced too far apart. My husband had to make a rustic wooden ladder for them and almost a hand rail so they could get in and out! My only other thought is the nesting box may be a little small. I have six hens and for some strange reason they all like to sleep in the nesting box one on top of the other, this was manageable when they were very young but now they have grown the last one or two end up looking in sorrowfully from the roosting side (have a bought retarded chickens?). My land is not level and the cube sits very well and the run also absorbs the angles, I have put the screw pegs on the edge which are essential for my situation. (the drill adaptor that comes with them is brilliant and makes the job easy) I am very pleased with my Omlet cube and although it is a large outlay initially I imagine it will last indefinitely with virtually no maintenance, as my Mother says 'you buy cheap you buy twice'!

Our order for the Eglu Cube Chicken Coop was despatched by Omlet according to our order. The courier company confused us by delivering the six packages over two days. The assembly instructions and guide are quite straight forward. We took our time in assembling the whole thing. We had a few minor issues and some customer feedback to give. We spoke to Lucy and Helen at Omlet Customers Services who could not have been more helpful. The minor issues where dealt with immediately and they were grateful for our customer queries and feedback. Our chickens are happily housed in their new home and seem very content. I have a green cube and a walk in run that for me is 3m by 2m and on average 2m high. I find it ideal for my five chooks – I did have six – sadly one died a week or so ago. I could have more in it, especially in winter as the chooks seem to huddle together in the cube almost like cats curl up. The council will not allow it! It is ideal and very well designed - though, one thing, it would be an idea if they had at least water in there if they want a drink in summer at least. I like the fox proof aspects of the run and house and its insulation and ease of cleaning etc and if I need, they could even have their bedroom door left open so they can come and go as they please. Better by far than the average Australian chook pen no matter how well built! The cleaning out is done weekly and with a newspaper lining is easy and enriches my compost.

We have wanted chickens for years but I always told my hubby we can only get them if Eglu Cube come to Australia. So finally it's here and we're so excited. It's so easy to clean, looks great and the chooks love it. Now we just have to wait for the Beehaus!

Just purchased my second Cube loving the larger door opening. Just so easy to keep clean and the Chickens love it. My first Cube has my ducks in, I just had to make a longer slope into the house and then train them to go up it. Took a while but they now go up the slope to bed on there own. I will soon be buying a third Cube as I have 14 2week old chicks to house.

Really love the Cube. So easy to clean and keep nice. The only thing I would say is i have a bad back and struggle putting the water container in the coop as it is heavy. Really like it though and the hens are happy!!

Love the design of the eglu. Someone has really thought this through. Its easy to move so that the chickens are on new ground every day. Its easy to clean out, put them to bed and check for eggs. Looks brilliant, such a funky design. Our chickens are safe, healthy and happy. Its pricey but in my opinion worth the outlay and its such good quality I think it will last a very long time.

Dithered about buying one cos of price, bought inferior wooden one which was falling apart after 2 months! Decided to treat myself and go for cube. I love it, it's so easy to clean , loads of room for my 5 girls, wish I'd bought one first, would highly recommend if you have just a few chickens.

Great product - we're using it for our ducks. If you're considering getting one for more than 4 ducks, it will need adapting - our ducks are enjoying the freedom of being outdoors in the sunshine - they're in an enclosed quad, however I'm sure they'll make more use of the Eglu in the colder months.
