I brought the coop 2 week ago and straight out of the box you could tell this was a quality product. The build was easy and went together a dream. Now it looks ace in situate and is homing our 3 chooks. Love it!

Definitely recommend!
I am a first time chicken keeper and I wanted something that would last, would allow me to move my chickens around, and was easy to clean. After hours and hours of research (my YouTube is filled with chicken coop reviews!) I settled on the Eglu Omlet. I am so glad that I did. This thing has proven to be everything the reviews said it would be… extremely difficult to put together for sure, but worth the initial hassle. I have 6 chickens (sapphire gems and buff orpingtons) and I initially purchased the 6 ft run extension. I used that for about 4 months before purchasing another 3ft run extension. I decided to purchase the run extension mostly as winter is coming (we live in the Midwest) and I want to provide them more room when the coop is being moved less. With a total of 12ft (and no run handles) my 2 year old daughter pushes the coop and I pull on the run and we have no problem moving it around the yard. It is difficult if I don’t have a pusher as even my little 2 year old makes a big difference in the mobility. We only allow supervised free ranging due to a pair of nesting bald eagles who would love a chicken dinner so the coop is moved almost daily to allow them access to fresh grass and dirt. I have 2 perches in there that they love and they were worth the money. I purchased the automatic door initially and am so glad I did. That is 100% worth the cost (and I would not want to add it on later given the hassle of building the thing). I also purchased the coop light, though honestly I think it just confuses them and so I have not had it on recently. Could have done without the light as my chickens are in bed 20 minutes before dusk. This coop is super easy to clean! My 2 snd 5 year olds loves to scrub at it with the soap and dish brush. It doesn’t take long and all components look like new. Very easy to empty the bedding every couple of days. If the makers are taking recommendations I would love to see a small storage compartment to hold treats. Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality, predator proofing, cleaning abilities, accommodations, and mobility of this coop. I love it!

Cold Winters require bedding and the insulated cover because the plastic on the slide out gets very, very cold, Straw works well! COZY!
I purchased 4 coops for 11 birds and they sort themselves out at night ( as they have their chicken friends and they nest/stick together ).
we live in Upstate NY ( Hudson area close to the Massachusetts and Connecticut borders ). Our winters while not always brutal are often in the single digits and certainly in the teens. PLEASE put straw or bedding down. I noticed immediate happiness for the girls instead of the cold plastic which is slipper and my hens dont like at all ( in the summer I keep a thin layer of shredded small pet paper bedding in there ) . ALSO A CAUTIONARY TALE!!!! Check your open EGLU’S for predators before the ladies go to bed at night. We had a stealth Raccoon find his way into one during the day and patiently wait. He new the routine! It could have been a devastating feeding frenzy…with the girls unable to escape! Fortunately I’m always home and fairly crazy about my hen’s happiness, so I make a habit of checking the coops - especially before bed! Don't think for a minute that predators are only nighttime feeders. An easy meal.. is an easy meal, and it’s a horrible death for a beloved hen. We have a 900sq ft predator proof run and I also free range them when I’m home during the day. The raccoon simply walked through the open gate.

Overall Features
While the cube has some great features, the directions are very challenging. Overall I really like the cube and it seems to work very well for the chickens.

We had someone else put it together! We had a couple of chickens in it the next day. This is perfect for keeping chickens in a clean environment!

They love it. So do we!
Satisfied. My daughter and I are new chicken owners (Spring 2022). We have 6 hens. They moved in our new Eglu cube / walk-in run combo ~3 months ago and, from what we can tell, they love it. And so do we!
Easy. We do regular changes of the dropping trays (2-3 days) and deep cleanings ~once a month. Eglu's material and design make it easy.
Confidence. Both the coop and the run are predator-proof. The combined use of both makes us feel very confident that our chickens are safe. We have hawks, coyotes and raccoons, all of which are known to prey on chickens in our area. I even saw a red fox spying on them one morning but he could only give them a scare, not eat them.
Aesthetic. Well, it all looks pretty cute. A nice addition to our backyard. Pic enclosed.
Service. One of the run panel was damaged during shipping. Omlet sent a new one. Reliable.

Waiting for the girls to grow
We have assembled the Eglu Cube and it is almost ready to welcome our girls. Since the auto door is on back order we will not attach the top until it is installed. It was so much fun working on this project together. Great quality and very sturdy, I like being able to make it to our specific needs. It can be moved but will probably remain in place for at least a year. We have coyotes, raccoons, dogs, cats, snakes, barn owls and several hawks in our area. Probably some water dwellers too since we are near a water source, so it was important to us to add 1/2 hardware cloth up the sides of the 13' run. We placed the run next to an old unused dog lot and added aviary netting. We think we did okay for our needs in the city.

Good product
I bought this about a month ago, and so far it's proving to be a solid coop. Some of my hens do not like the roosting area, they prefer to be able to lay down in bedding but the roosting area is all bars to roost on. I just put some hay in the back half so they can lay there, otherwise most of them want to sleep in the egg box area. I'm not going to lie, this coop is a bear to put together. The instructions do not specify for instance that you have to put the run together BEFORE you finish putting the coop together, so I had to take it apart once I found a youtube video to explain that. Also, the parts were numbered incorrectly, so locating which part I was supposed to be using wasn't always easy. The part would have one number on it, and the manual wouldn't show any parts with that number, the number wouldn't exist, so I had to match up the pictures. They must have changed numbers with a new manual and mis-printed. I would expect with the expense of this coop that it would be seamless, it wasn't. Also, the run is held together with twist ties and plastic clips. I was shocked to see this, when I consider how expensive this coop was, I would have expected that Omlet would splurge on stainless steel ties at the very least, not plastic. I don't expect the plastic to last long in the Florida sun. For this reason, i give the run a thumbs down, it doesn't feel safe. The coop itself is safe and strong and user-friendly. We are going to change out all the cheap zip ties to stainless steel and hope for the best on the run. I am wondering if we add on the larger walk in run, if it will be help together with cheap plastic zip ties and plastic clips as well. That would be very tough to set up, and for the high cost of the walk-in run, I would expect more. This will be a factor in whether we bother to expand the run with Omlet, or go with a much less expensive chain link, that will be held together with stronger material.

Looks really sound and cute.
Was tricky to build on my own, but now it looks great and I'm sure my chickens will be really happy and safe in it.
