The runs are made of heavy duty steel weld mesh and the anti-tunnel skirt are bringing extra protection against predators. Unfortunately, nature is unpredictable, meaning that there is no 100% guarantee that no predator can never break in the run.
The coop itself is the safest so we would recommend to leave your chickens in the locked coop at night, and to remove the food as well at that time.
However, I will bring your review to the attention of our product design team so that they can study if further improvements could be made.

We are happy we bought the Eglu Cube. It is easy to clean, functional and the fact that it is easy to move around means the grass doesn’t get ruined. The run shade helps keeping our chickens cool and dry. Our bantams seem to enjoy the coop and run. We have a 2m run but believe that with more than 5 chickens a larger run would be more appropriate if they cannot free range (we have 2 greyhounds and foxes around during the day, so no option for us). We have the automatic door which is extremely useful (although some of our chickens forget don’t think it is bed time yet and end up on top of the ladder in front of the closed door). The feeders are handy to carry and easy to clean too. Food doesn’t get wet in the feeder when it rains.
We had different instruction manuals when putting the coop and run together and they were slightly different which was somewhat confusing at times.

Very happy that we bought the Omlet Eglu Cube. It is easy to clean, functional and the fact you can wheel it around means your grass doesn’t get ruined. The run shade helps to keep them cool. We have a 2m run and our four bantams seem happy in it. For more chickens I believe a larger run would be appropriate (we can’t free range them because of our greyhounds and foxes in the garden).

moveable eagle
we bought the eglu on wheels about 4 weeks ago. Took all day to put together. Like the design but very disappointed that the handles are not included. Since we bought the moveable eglu and you can only do so with handles ( it is harder to move than suggested) they should be included. You are very much left with the feeling that this company is trying to make money out of every little bit and they are actually already very expensive. Even the screw down pegs are charged in addition. Either the skirt works or it needs the pegs in which case they should also be included. You are not left with a good feeling about this company although they have a good design.

I am very sorry to read that you are not left with a good feeling about us, and I hope that we could maybe change that.
One of the specific things about us it that our coops and runs are designed to be very flexible, offering the possibility to adapt to any sort of ground and land conditions.
We would indeed not include directly handles and screw pegs in initial packages, as it would increase the initial price of the coop, when some people might not need these options. For example, some people do not need to move their coop at all, which is why they have the option of purchasing their coop without wheels and handles. Others might have a very flat ground, so they might not need screw pegs.
We realised that every person has different needs, which is why we offer a lot of separate options to increase the flexibility in setup choices.

A great product - clever design, easy to assemble and my hens love it.
It's only when you start putting it together that you realise what a clever piece of kit this is, as well as being extremely sturdy and well made. I've been wanting a Cube for years and am not disappointed!
Also my hens took to it straight away and in hot weather they go inside to keep cool.
Although it's pricey, I see it as an investment and I'm sure it will last forever.
We bought the version with no run, to go inside our existing home-made run - and therefore bought the Omlet stand for our "grub" containers, which proved to be the perfect solution.

Some pros and cons
Already noticed some rust and it is not even one month old. No pegs come with the run which to me was not clear in it's advertisement and was not even an option to order. This makes the run unsafe unless you emergency purchase tent pegs to secure the skirt down. Roosting bar as it is too slippery. Had to line it with cardboard and shavings for them to stay in coop to sleep. Also duct taped branches onto the stairs so they could climb it to get into the coop. Also too slippery. Perhaps when they get older these "cheats" will not be necessary but be aware that for young chickens (9 weeks) you might need to improvise a solution. On the plus it is very easy to clean and keep looking like new. The automatic door purchased separately is excellent. Very strong as well. I move it by pulling the run and it stays together.

Regarding the rust, this should indeed not happen, especially after such a short amount of time. Do not hesitate to contact us and send us photos of this if you feel like there is a fault, we will be more than happy to have a look and provide you with replacements if necessary.
We do offer the option to purchase specifically Omlet designed screw pegs to secure your run. You can read more about them on the Eglu Cube page, in the section Keeps Your Hens Safe.
To help with slippery stairs, we do offer the option to purchase ladder grips. You can find these on the Eglu Spares and Accessories.

Easy Setup
Setup was a breeze. It took me and the wife about 2 hours to set up. Using the video made it simple. Seems like the Eglu Cube will last. We are happy with how roomy it is.

Quality as usual
Set the Cube II up by myself. Took me a couple of hours but was fairly easy. It's a quality product, that's clear as soon as you get the parts out. I have also fitted the automatic door to mine which was very easy.

Excellent product
Had hummed and hawed about purchasing such an expensive house for my girls didn’t think it was worth the money. How wrong was i product is well built and is a great size , easy to clean also . Was worried about the steps thought they where to steep for the girls but they have mastered them well. House has a separate door on the inside for my girls to lay eggs this can be closed by sliding it along we tend to keep ours open to give the girls more sleeping area if they want it. The girls love it so do my other three girls who have started to lay there eggs in the new house . Well worth the money so glad i purchased also
