Seriously. This the most hands off coop ever. I moved my 8 week old chicks into it and just had to put them in the coop the first night. I bought the auto door that I programmed to close at 8 and after that first night, they put themselves to bed at 7:50. All i do is go out and check that they all made it in. Which so far…two weeks later, they all do. They actually poop in between the roosting tray at night, so cleaning the lower tray is as simple as dumping and putting fresh pine shavings in. Yes, it takes some tedious time to build…but in my experience, the longer it takes the better quality. If you are on the fence about buying this, DO IT! Seriously. I can’t say enough good things about this. It’s the perfect backyard coop or even on a farm with the ability to move it around so easily.

Chickens are so happy in their new home which offers great peace of mind with the automatic closing door. 5 * luxury for our 5* hens! Expensive, but a quality product which will be long lasting and easy to maintain. Only criticism is the feeder - much prefer the old style round ones and seconded by the girls!

Coop and run have been up for about a week with our 6 week old chicks in there for a few days now. Construction time was a little longer than Omlet's estimations with some hiccups I can chalk up to user error (I would suggest using an analog screwdriver and not a screw gun, as the screws can get stuck if not threaded into the unit properly. Learned that the hard way, but the coop is solid nonetheless). I definitely recommend getting the handles for the run, as moving it is a bit of a pain without them. Most of all, the chicks seem happy to be outside and are loving their new space. That's all I really care about.

Excellent quality and well constructed chook house. Easy to clean and my girls are very happy with their new home. Will definitely be purchasing more.

To top this all our hens have always been more than happy in them. We added a few Omlet extras, as in perches and a treat thing that hangs. You won’t be disappointed with your purchase.

When you buy add ons with the coops, make sure you look at those specific instructions because some items differ a little bit between the instruction manuals.

I bought this chicken coop having tried other coops over the years. Putting the Eglu Cube together was simple and I am delighted with the build quality. Although I only have the Eglu for a short while I am very impressed with it. It is very easy to clean and I love the portability of it. But most of all my hens have given it the seal of approval!

Although it was trickier to put together than I thought, I love the eglu. My chickens tppo to it immediately and I cannot wait to add fun accessories. I have not gone through a winter yet but I did order the extreme weather pack.

We bought our Eglu about a year ago. I was a little wary at first because it was so different our old, traditional looking coop - but would now never go back. We replaced the old one because the wood was rotting, it couldn't be properly secured and a fox got in. The Eglu has proven secure, is so easy to keep clean, there are no spiders hiding in hard to reach places - and we no longer have a problem with pigeons eating the food! The automatic door is awesome, our chickens can wander the backyard from dawn to dusk. I don't know how long the batteries on it are supposed to last, but they haven't needed changing yet.

Love how easy this coop is to take care of. Before I head off to work I'll go out to check on the "girls" and take five minutes to clean out the coop. At night we rest knowing that they are safe and secure.
