I use this for baby chicks too big for the brooder but not big enough for the main henhouse. It has proven quite safe from predators. However since it sits on the ground, cleaning is not as easy as the models that are elevated. To clean or collect eggs requires the tray to be slid out at grass level. However once out, a strong spray with water is pretty much all that's needed. Since I use it for not fully grown hens, it's perfect for me. If used as a permanent coop, I would say 3 average size chickens is it. As a transition, like mine, 5. The coop was very easy to assemble. The run was a bit annoying, mostly because I have arthritic thumbs and it required a lot of clip snapping. But the directions weren't too difficult. Took me 3 hours all by myself.

The first time we have had chickens and the Eglu made the whole process much easier. It was assembled very quickly and when the chickens arrived we had the home and run ready. Easy to access, clean and manage this is the perfect solution for anyone starting off. The design with front/back doors etc means you can focus on looking after the chickens without the worry as to whether the home was safe and suitable.

The Eglu Go has been designed to make chicken-keeping simple. It’s well-thought out design and robust plastic materials make every task as simple as possible. The run is a little tricky to build - it would be helpful if the pieces were coloured coded (with indications on where to place the clips).

I got my Eglu Go chicken run as a christmas present and I am so pleased with it! It took about an hour to put together and 2 of the metal clips keep coming un-secure whenever we move the run around and I cant get them to go back in but apart from that it is fab!! Really easy to clean and my 3 bantam hens love it, the colour also looks great in the garden :) I have also recently purchased the Eglu Go waterproof full length run cover (with amazing customer service from Omlet!) and it keeps my hens lovely and dry in the rain.

My two girls, Rose and Joan, and I are absolutely eggstatic about their new home. Eggstremely practical and snuggly warm especially in this chilly weather. Would heartily recommend your products.

Robust, secure, easy-to-clean house suitable for two or three full-sized hens. The 2m run would be too small for anything other than occasional short-term use for no more than two full-sized hens.

Why haven't I purchased these before. I purchased a Go Up for my chickens was so impressed I purchased Eglu Go for my Campbell ducks and they love it. It has made my life so much easier for cleaning out and moving around.

My girls love the Egglu and lay everyday since we bought it. Only wish it had air vents in the top as it gets quite warm in Summer. Fantastic product, well worth the expense!

This is the best chicken coop I have ever seen! I purchased one years ago and it is still just like new. It also weathered 28" of snow with no problems also the ginger nut ranger chickens were the best I ever raised. Plan on getting the cube one next. I just want to say again that I purchased mine years ago and it is still in use today! Very impressed.

This is such an easy hen house to keep clean and the chickens love it! It takes me just a few minutes to pull out the tray and dispose of waste. It's a lot more hygienic and looks tidier in the garden.
