Very Nice Chicken Run
Chicken run is roomy for my 7 hens. I love the fact I can go inside without having to duck down. Took my son and I 2 days to put together. Took a while because it was raining.

safe space
The chickens were free range, but things were a bit out of control on the property. We were losing a few to coyotes too. We are very pleased with the space they now have. Everyone is safe and secure.

Secure run Great in Summer, Awful in Winter
I bought the Eglu run to house my hens after having my homemade wooden built run of over 10 years was no longer usuable. I decided after much consideration I would buy an omlet run as they got such good reviews. These runs aren't cheap but hey I'd went ahead and bought one. In April this year it arrived and its been great through the summer, I have had happy hens. Come autumn/winter, not so happy hens. I have spent a fortune on covers to cover the roof and sides to stop the rain from literally flooding them out. I love this run as I know my hens are safe from predators, but it really isn't great for winter usage despite the protective covers I've bought from omlet. Regretting pulling down my wooden run.

hard to errect
very impressed with the product but no one should underestimate the amount of work involved in putting it together. There are several hundred nasty little plastic clips to deal with some of which involve kneeling on the floor to attach. All very well on a concrete base but on grass on uneven ground it becomes tiring and tedious. If the ground is not horizontal the structure leans and the the roof support poles tend to pop apart. It look very easy in the video but in practice in a real situation it is a very different story.

Hi Chris,
Thank you for your review.
Your feedback has been passed onto our Product Design team to allow them to evaluate further improvements.
Once the coop assembled, the clips should stay sturdy and keep the coop stable altogether.
We would indeed recommend to install it on a flat surface before moving it on the desired area. You can then place some screw pegs if you wish, to secure it on uneven ground.
We stay at your disposal for any further information.

2m x 2m walk in chicken enclosure
Good quality mesh which is pretty heavy, but may not as tolerant of humid tropical weather. A friend's enclosure has started rusting.
The snap clips used for holding the pieces of mesh together are easy to lock but are way too loose to be practical. Required self application of extra cable ties to hold the pieces sturdily together. This is especially if you intend to relocate the enclosure instead of building it onsite. The swing doors and door locks are well designed and smooth. I applied the skirting on the inside of the enclosure instead of the outside due to space constraints. Perhaps this can be included as an option in the installation instructions. I think it works just as well

Hi SC,
Thank you for your feedback. Our runs are being used in countries that can have extreme types of weather, and they were designed to stay sturdy and durable enough in all types of weather. If your friend wishes to contact us, it would be good to try to understand better their specific situation.
The clips are also designed to keep the assembly in an optimal form, and they should not be loose once installed. We would recommend you to watch our instruction videos in order to ensure that the clips have been correctly installed. You can find these videos here.

Easy assembly, sturdy
When we started with chickens we knew nothing about Omlet, or chickens for that matter. We got 6 chickens and a hand made wooden coop. We determined that we needed a protected run. I researched several options and decided on an Omlet run for its construction, and reviews. We purchased a 6x6x6 run. It arrived quickly. My daughter and I assembled it easily in an hour. The run is sturdy and looks great. The "barn style" make entering the run easy. Soon after our flock expanded to 9 chickens. We needed to expand the run. We ordered a 3x3x3 extension pack. True to form, adding the extension pack was fairly easy and straight forward. The run has been visited by several coyote without any damage. This is a well thought out, easy to assemble, and durable (3 months and counting) system. We are currently adding an eglu to house an injured hen. We do highly recommend the Omlet brand.

6’ Chicken Run
We have an Eglu coop with older hens. We wanted to get new chicks, so we purchased a new Eglu coop and put the Chicken Run in the middle. We alternate access to the run between the old ladies and young girls.

Sturdy and secure
We bought this so our chickens had more space to roam and be safe from predators. This meets our needs of keeping them safe . They have lots of room and the omlet run is very sturdy.
