Can I extend my tunnel system later?
Yes, the system is modular, so you can buy an extra kit to add extra tunnels from the start or later on.
Are the tunnels easy to clean?
Yes, just remove the connector and separate the tunnel bits, then you can wipe them clean using a wet cloth and a non-abrasive pet safe disinfectant. We recommend doing this once a week, depending on how much your pets use the tunnels.
Can I use the tunnels to connect two hamster cages together?
We don’t offer a specific kit for this purpose, but you can create one yourself using the pre-existing kits.
Can I use the tunnels to connect a Hamster cage to a playpen?
We don’t offer a specific kit for this purpose, but you can create one yourself using the pre-existing kits. For safety reasons, we don’t recommend giving your pets free access to the playpen when not supervised.
Can I use the tunnels in my pet’s playpen?
Yes, you can put one or several tunnels in the playpen or any other area where your pets are exercising. Do however make sure that the tunnels have the connectors attached at the end to prevent chewing.
What animals can use the tunnels?
The tunnels are designed for hamsters and gerbils.
Can I use the tunnels with my non-Omlet hamster cage?
You can put the tunnels in the cage as long as there’s enough space. As for attaching them to the cage, we don’t have any guidance on how to fasten the doors to a third party product, but it’s most likely possible if you have some DIY knowledge.
