You can order a Zippi Rabbit Run with an enclosed roof and an underfloor mesh for complete 360 degree protection. All run panels are made from heavy duty steel weldmesh. This is amazing because it means your rabbits can exercise and play whenever they want without the need for supervision. The underfloor mesh prevents persistent diggers from tunneling out.

Connect Zippi Runs to Your Wooden Hutch With Zippi Tunnels
You can easily connect any rabbit hutch to a Zippi Run or Playpen with the Zippi Tunnel System. This is the ideal way to provide a secure link between a hutch and your run. The Zippi Tunnel has its own door so you can control when your pets can access the run. If you're cleaning the hutch you can keep them in the run and if you’re moving the run you can keep them in the hutch - so handy! You can design your Zippi Tunnel System to suit your rabbits and garden with Omlet’s configurator. All Zippi Rabbit Enclosures are available in two heights. The play pen for rabbits can be either 48cm or 96cm. The enclosed roof runs can be either 56cm or 105cm high.
The double height runs are easily big enough for kids to get inside and play with their pets in a secure enclosure, while the single height runs are smaller, lighter and easier to move for a practical exercise solution.
Add Extension Kits to Expand Your Rabbit’s Secure Run
You can extend both the width and length of your Zippi Rabbit Run to give your bunnies more space to hop around in. You can choose to buy a larger run to start with, or extend as your bunnies grow and you want to give them a bigger area to explore.

Note: the Zippi Rabbit Runs cannot be extended to be taller. So for example the single height cannot be extended to create a double height.
Create Large Access Doors With Easy Access Locks
You can transform your Zippi Run by turning any of the mesh panels into a door or hatch for easy access to your pets. Simply replace the standard run clips with Easy Access Locks on three sides of any mesh panel to give you a secure and ultra convenient opening to your run. Use more locks to convert several adjoining panels into a larger size door or even open up the entire roof of a Zippi Run for full access when you want to clean the run or play with your pets!

Add the finishing touches to your metal rabbit pen with the new Zippi Shelters and Play Tunnels. Frequently Asked Questions
Can I extend my run?
Yes, the runs can be extended lengthwise however big you want using extension kits. You can also extend a two panel wide run to three panels wide. You can’t however turn a single height run into a double height run.
Can I extend my playpen?
Yes, you can find extra panels (both single and double height) on the Zippi spares page.
What are the mesh dimensions?

What are the mesh dimensions of the underfloor mesh?
The underfloor mesh is 78 x 78 mm, measured from the ends of the mesh wires.
Are the Zippi runs predator proof?
While the strong materials and thought out design makes it extremely hard for predators to get to your pets, no run is 100% predator proof.
If you live in an area with lots of predators (foxes or smaller ones like martens and weasels) or rats, you might want to consider adding additional protection to the run.
Can I add a roof later on?
Yes, you can turn your playpen into a run by adding a roof whenever you want. You can find the Zippi Rabbit Run Roof - Starter Pack here.
Will my rabbits be able to dig through the underfloor mesh?
Depending on the size of your rabbit and their eagerness to dig, you will likely see your pets trying to dig through the underfloor mesh. Make sure your pets have lots of opportunities to exercise and play (digging is often a sign of boredom), or give them a designated safe spot to dig. If you notice that your rabbits have been digging, regularly move the run to new spots to prevent your pets escaping. If you’re still worried, you can contact our customer service team who will be able to give you more tips.
Can I extend the height of my single height Zippi run?
Unfortunately you can only extend a Zippi run length- and widthwise. The sturdiness of the run can’t be guaranteed when extended in height.
Will the underfloor mesh hurt my pets’ feet?
The sizing of the mesh has been designed to fit rabbit and guinea pig feet. If you’re placing the run on grass, it will barely be noticeable to your pet, but even on a harder surface it won’t cause your pets’ any discomfort.
Why can't I fit two Zippi runs together instead of buying an extension?
You can technically connect two runs together, but it’s not something we recommend. The extension packs will provide you with exactly what you need; if you connect two runs together you will have spares. Connecting two runs rather than extending also compromises the structure of the roof, and it will not be as strong.
Can I keep baby animals in the run?
As long as your rabbit or guinea pig is old enough to go outside, they can be kept in the Zippi Run. For very small babies of certain breeds, you may want to add additional mesh or covers to exclude the risk of escapes.

We're new to bunny parenting and I did lots of research before buying our run. I love that we can extend and add things to make it more exciting for our bunnies. Only downside is the high delivery charges

Handy little access devices!
We used several of these access locks to "pimp my ride" for our Zippi run for our guinea pig....it is so much easier to chase the pig down to bring in for the night when you can just step in with your animal rather than try to reach in from the outside. We have built outdoor hutches/lawn tractors for our animals before, and it was SOOOO nice to just screw these locks onto the base run to make a door and retractable roof rather than dealing with cutting hardware cloth and fitting to a frame. Most of the locks remain secure all the time, it is infrequent that one works itself loose and needs a little tightening. Definitely recommend this product.

Happy rabbits
We are very pleased with the run we recently bought. Our bunnies are happy, they can run and jump and enjoy the grass. We are intending to buy an extension pack, possibly a tunnel and another smaller run. It's great to see them playing.
