This thing is great don’t have to go out at dawn and lock the ladies up anymore automatic door close every time I set mine on time mode light goes on a couple of minutes before door closes!!

We love it, it's been really reliable. Chicks are 11 wks and still a hard head or two who are little.late even after the light comes on. They are learning but we still love it, especially at 6:15am!

The auto door works perfectly, the light sensor is actually even better than i was expecting, my girls are locked up and let out right when I want them to be and I have the freedom to sleep in or go out for dinner without having to plan my schedule around opening and closing the coop door!

Performed above expectations for sure will and do recommend it to everyone.

Have used the auto door now for about a month. It was easy to install and program. Works very well. I have it set for opening at 5:30 am and closing at 9 pm. I do not use the coop light. The girls know what time it is to go to roost. Battery still registers 100% so it doesn't use much power. Now I don't have to go out at 5:30 to let the girls out nor do I have to worry about them being put up for the night. Highly recommend this product.

Absolutely outstanding works better than I even thought it would. My father (76 years old) said if he had this door system he would still have chickens it was just to hard for him to get there every morning and evening.

Excellent product. The light calls my chickens in for bedtime. Light comes on at dusk, chicken get in coop, AutoDoor closes and it’s night, night for the day.

The door was a pleasure to install and use; its great industrial design shines though. When I was talked into getting chickens again (round four over 25 years and three properties), I insisted we put the work in upfront to reduce the labor and hassles of running a backyard coop as much as possible. The Omlet automatic door has banished a 2x daily chore forever!

I researched a number of auto doors for my coop. I was a little put off by the guillotine style ones and I stumbled upon this one. I LOVE it. It won't close if my hand is just barely brushing the safety bar so I feel good that it is probably not going to smush a chicken. It was very easy to assemble and install on my wooden coop wall. The controls are very easy to use if you follow the instructions and I am just using the preset light sensor settings which are working great. It closes after they put themselves to bed in the evening and They are all pecking about in their run when I venture out in the morning. Also, its adorable and looks great on my coop. More of a modern look and less of the industrial farmhouse look that most other doors seem to have. I got the light which I love to use to spy and make sure they all got settled in for the evening. Can you tell I love this thing? I would buy it again, for sure.
