Although not needed because the door comes with a bracket to install on wire fencing, I am so glad I spent the money. Easy peasy!

I built a custom coop and was looking for an automated door that I could trust. Reviews of less expensive options made me highly sceptical that they would last. The Omlet Door is well built and gives me great confidence that it will keep working for years to come. The addition of the new smart features are a massive bonus!

When we go away I am always anxious about hen safety and have a battery WiFi camera pointed into the run. The smart door app makes me even more happy as I know when the hennies are safely indoors and up and about in the run. Really pleased with the auto door. I already had one on my go up eglu and I wanted one for the outer area as they are on an allotment, it has made things a lot easier.

Great product! No more closing the coop door manually. We have it on the standard light sensor which works brilliantly. We weren’t sure at first whether the chickens would be in before door closes but so far it’s a 100% hit. It’s light on the standard AA batteries. So no need for a wired connection.

One of the best investments for my chickens. I also bought the light which helped guide my chickens into the coop. They were already going in at night but because it was pitch black inside they were gathering at the door and not getting onto the perches. Sometimes I would have one or two hop out as the other automatic door I had would close. Had a few instances where ones head would get caught. The best thing I love about this door is you can control it from the app on your phone, so if one does get stuck outside you can open it back up!
