These are much better than the wooden bars that I inherited when I bought a 2nd hand Eglu. The only problem is that the raised bits (which I presume help the chooks to grip) also collect gunge and need scrubbing sometimes.

We had our eglu hen house about 4 years ago and it was fab but over the years the roosting bars had started to fall apart. We went online and found that we can now buy plastic bars which fit in our older eglu. What a fantastic upgrade. It is now completely plastic which is so easy to clean and means that we are still red mite free (4 years now) since selling our old wooden hen house and buying an eglu. We are real fans. Spend the extra money-in the long run these are excellent value.

I saw the plastic Roosing Bars in a friend's brand new Eglu and thought they were a great improvement over the wooden bars in my own (several years old) Eglu. As I expected, they are much easier to keep clean and the hens have not noticed the difference. 10/10.

Bought these to replace the original wooden bars. They fit well, and are far easier to clean than the wooden bars. No hiding places for mites etc. Excellent product.

Although our small second hand Eglu is only for housing new ex-batts before they move into the cube, we had no hesitation in buying plastic bars for use with it. We already have them in the cube and they make a real difference to cleaning out, especially in that cold winter weather when the hens are inside for longer and the bars are correspondingly messier!

Easy to clean, kids love our omlet classic but would love to have the omlet cube & more chickens.

So easy to keep clean. Feels like a new eglu. Feels as tho my girls are protected from infection and bugs.

Not as pleasing as the wooden bars but a lot easier to clean.

The bars arrived today, on schedule, and they fit perfectly into my second hand eglu classic mk2. They seem to spruce the whole thing up. It is very difficult to get all the muck off the old wooden ones so I'm very happy (and I'm sure my two new hens will be too when they arrive)! Thank you
