Love the shape
Jennifer,
I love the cage but definitely have some suggestions for improvement. A separate water dish, mine gets disgusting with hulls and debris before the day is over, the area to actually drink out of is small and gets clogged easily. It would also be great if you could design some type of screening to go around the bottom to catch hulls and feathers and such. I end up vacuuming every day.

Pretty good
Kristy,
To start off, the cage is very pretty and unique. It was easy to put together, it took me about 30 minutes to do it alone. The selling point for me was the stand, as I have cats and wanted a way to elevate my bird without having to hang the cage, but a regular table was not an option as the cats would just jump up to it. One of the bolts that came with the stand to help secure it into place had too small of threading and could not be used. Technically it works fine without it, but at some point I'll have to go to the hardware store and get a bolt that fits just to be safe. The cage is way more spacious than I imagined, I had plenty of room to add another small swing, rope ladder and 2 destruction toys. The bird bath and mirrors are nice add ons, however the film was very hard to get off the mirrors, and I actually had to use a knife to slice the mirror to be able to separate the film from it. The bird feeder in the center definitely helps with mess. The bad part is that they are not secure and my lovebird is able to knock them out if the holder and onto the bottom of the cage, and she did this twice just on her first day in the cage. The cover seems to be nice quality, so hopefully it will hold up in the wash well. Overall I would recommend this cage, not only does it look nice but it's very spacious and sturdy. My lovebird definitely loves this cage.

Best cafe we’ve ever had
Cindy,
This is truly a beautiful and well-thought out cage that makes it feel less like parakeets are living in a dark, prison-like container and more like they have their own airy loft condo. I appreciate the use of more natural materials like the wood stand, and the geodesic design of the cage has its advantages. The first time we tried changing the cage liner, our parakeet did escape, and I realized this could be prevented by doing the process more slowly, like the part where you’re lifting the cage away from the bottom. We haven’t had issues since, especially since our bird is used to it now. I do appreciate how you can separate the bottom from the cage because it makes it so much easier to keep the cage clean, and since it’s plastic it’s easy to rinse off without worrying it’ll rust. The only thing that needs improvement is the seed dispenser. My parakeets have some trouble getting more seeds out when their seed cups start getting low, and I think this could be solved by making the seed dispenser easier for the seeds to flow out, and maybe the seed cups a little wider. The other thing is that the liners are super expensive at 10 for over $6, so maybe they could find a way to reduce the cost for the consumers. Otherwise, I will be cutting my own. Other than that, we really, really love this cage and are happy we found it!

Omlet response:
Hi Cindy, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback. We are happy to read your satisfaction with this product. In regards to the seed dispenser, please feel free to get in touch directly with us with more information. It would be interesting for us to know what kind of food you are using. The seed type food that you can find on our website for exemple should work well with the feeder and drinker. With pelletised food it may be a bit trickier. Our liners are made from a thick and good quality paper so it will last and stay in good shape for longer. Also, the special shape of the liner means that the price is slightly more expensive than it would be for standard rectangular liners. Nevertheless, your feedback has been passed onto our Product Design Team for further improvements. We are looking forward to hearing back from you soon. Yours, Clemence Omlet Customer Service Team
Nice safe shallow bird bath
Canarybird,
I keep canaries and budgies. My birds do not have the Omlet Geo round cages. I bought the baths hoping the hooks would be compatible with my rectangular cages. Alas they are not but the baths are capable of freestanding on the floor of the cages and are very stable. They are a great success with my featherkids who feel safe as they have a good splash around. I feel they are much safer than the external hook on bird baths. My birds can tweet they now have indoor plumbing rather than the old outhouse!

Very good cage!
Heather,
We bought this cage a few months ago. The Youtube video was a very important part of assembly. Once you get the hang of how the round nodes are attached, they are very easy. This cage is very strong. We have 2 very active budgies who climb and fly around in it. In order to keep the birds from flying around when cleaning, I detach the clips, lift the cage from the base and place it beside the base, keeping it close to the table. I have never had an issue with the birds flying out. The feeder really does catch the empty seed shells, cutting down on mess. My only two issues are 1. that the feeder also catches un-eaten seeds and the birds can't get to them, and 2. the feeder base cannot be removed through the doors. You must remove the cage from the base to clean it. The water and food containers come out, but the large base does not. I would buy it again. Very strong, and beautiful to look at.

Flimsy
Ashfaq,
This cage could be quite flimsy if you want to hang plenty of toys. Could only be stopped husk not falling out of the cage, you must feed budgies only from the feeder provided with the cage. If you feed budgies with all sort of food and treat then room floor could get dirty.you should use net. I must say cage looks nice. Price bit high. Room size matters. I still love the cage, budgies love it and that's pays all.

A really nice cage, unique!
Arthur,
It's a beautiful cage, my Wife and I bought this for our parrotlet. If you watch the how to build video, read the instructions beforehand and follow the diagrams, putting it together will go well. But, be sure to not be in a hurry, it takes some time to build! The parts, design, etc. are all quality. And I like the shape and dimensions of the cage.  The only part that I think can improve in the design is the doors, they swing out. It would be great if they were designed similar to the doors on the Vision cage, to open out or in to also double as a platform for flight out of and into the cage. That would greatly improve the experience for the bird. We have two Vision cages for our birds and they love that aspect of the cage. Aside from that, it would also be great if Omlet had more accessories; other types of perches, ropes, toys, etc. that are designed for their cage. But, overall, a great cage; we'll probably buy another one for our other birds.

Beautifully designed bath
Doric,
The unique design of the bath is very functional and spacious giving the extra space your avian can move and maneuver at will, without fear of falling out while splashing about to its maximum delight. It blends in with the design of the cage without looking like an "add-on" accessory! Your avian will appreciate your thoughtfulness!
