This is a very effective device however before I was used to it, I injured myself when it snapped shut on my thumb. Now it's fab and the bruise has gone. Just don't let kids play with it or there could be tears.... I cried!

Bought an old Eglu without a pin - order processed quickly all fits

This was to replace a missing pin on a second-hand rabbit version, we've just converted for chickens. The loop on the pin sprung shut beautifully at first. A couple of weeks down the line and it doesn't really close properly. Not a huge problem and it still stops little hands taking the lid off the eglu!
